Anyone play with Forten Sweet at a high tension?
I trying Forten Sweet 16 Gold as crosses. Anyone stringing it 65+ lbs. It's supposed to be a very soft string but I find it very stiff. And for the first time in a long time my arm hurts a little.

I usually play it as a hybrid in my economical setup @58 lbs (17g). I have played it @58 in a full bed as well and have had no issues at all, the thing is that in a full bed the string either breaks fast or becomes a trampoline for me so I cut it out. Maybe drop the tension and try it at a lower tension

IMO, sweet 16 plays like a frying pan on high tension. Feels pretty dead. I get alot more feel when the tension is alot lower. However, if u like sweet at higher tension, try the 17g. At least I get better results with it. But it snaps very quickly.

Forten Sweet Gold is very stiff and nothing like the natural or white which are soft and much better strings. White is the softest but has less power than Natural which I find to be just right. I wouldn't even bother stringing up the gold, use it for twine and get some of the natural in 17g.
