Full bed of solinco outlast 17

Anyone ever tried this? From the costumer feedback seems like it would be a good poly for me to alternate with my usual black code 17. Most discussion on the forums though have revolved around using it as a hybrid with gut. Has anyone strung this full bed, how was the spin potential?

I'd like to hear more about that string as well, before I bail and get a reel of Baseline Spin.

I had a full bed of Outlast 17 in a V-Core 95 D, I really liked it. I had it strung at 55 which might have been a bit high, it was a little bit 'boardy'. Held tension really well and had pretty decent spin production.

I was running Black Code 17 in my other V-Cores at the time, found Outlast plays quite similarly but holds it's tension a bit better, not quite as much bite though.

hope this helps

Thanks Timbo, black code 17 being my go to string that is very helpful, how would you compare the power to cyclone?

When I was doing the research for my initial stock of strings, it was a toss-up between SPPP 1.28 and Outlast 17.
I went with the Signum Pro, but I think my clients would've been just as happy with the Outlast.

well, like I said, I think I had the outlast strung too tight so power was down... I think it would be about the same though.

I would try it again, but I have a reel of Cyclone and red would look a bit funny in the Volkls!
