Top Juniors
 

Hey guys, A kid at my local racquet club just turned 14 and has been playing tournaments for about 6 months now. The pros there think he has what it takes to be playing at gold ball national tournament events. His ranking is not very good in his section yet. I know this is different for every junior, but if he would make it to tournaments like the Easter bowl (which is one of his goals that he told me) how long would it take him to be at that level?

Depends how talented he is and how good his fundamentals are now.

He would probably need a couple hundred matches for experience to be at that competitive level. What section is he in? That will matter also.
