Babolat V-Pro Clay

I just pickep up a pair of V-Pro clay on sale here in Argentina. I dont know much about them, they are actually my first babolat shoe...
]Has anyone used them?

they look very well made, light and comfortable w/ no break in needed...
The only downside at first contact is the lacing system...and they fit 1/2 size smaller

I currently have two pairs of the V-Pro all court and one pair of the clay version. I really like the shoes and as you mentioned they are comfortable right out of the box. I agree on the lacing as I always seem to have a problem with them being tight enough. The clay version has worked very well for me thus far.

Is that the michelin guy, in the bottom of the heel?

Yes, all babolat shoes are made with michelin rubber :-p

I just bought a pair of V-Pro All Court and they're due to arrive on Monday. They're on sales currently at Tennis Warehouse for $45 only.

I've played with the v-pro clay today. Really comfy shoe, right out the box comfort.
Cushioning is good on the heel, but a bit poor on the forefoot. Is very light and traction on clay is excellent...
The only downsides are imo, the lacing system and lateral stability...

i think all babolat shoes sit low to the ground under the forefoot so the cushioning is rather thin there. i know my propulse 2s are the same way.

Used them for a few months, great traction and comfort. The upper leather too soft seemsthey even loosened quite a bit with use, and my left toe kept coming over the very short toe guard.
