How good is Nike Air Max technology?
this is the first time Nike Air Max failed T_T
the shoes won't support anymore. ![]() Now I am wondering how good is nike air max technology..... I liked the technology because the air makes light weight (less material) and might offer decent cushions. Seems like EVA form or gel might have more durable than Air max  |
I've had a few Air Max units pop on me after a period of use. It's not that uncommon, and I believe Nike will replace defective Air Max units up to a certain period of time if they've popped. Given my reconstructed ACL, I generally prefer the Nike Air Max line of shoes because of the greater cushioning. Outside of that, I prefer the Gel cushioning in Asics shoes, particularly the Gel Res line.

2 things about air max.
1. The air max is actually very firm and is usually coupled with a softer midsole (like cushlon). This usually results in a higher ride than most shoes. 2. The bubble itself, along with the midsole, doesn't flex good. That's why the air max for tennis is usually on the heel only. |
