Tennis ball that I should try

I have only used wilson us open penn champion chips and wilson 2. What one should I try next?

Around BerkeleyCa. most guys prefer DunlopHDHardCourtChamps. They are heaviest ball, fly the slowest, last the longest.

Babolats are pretty good balls.

Try Tecnifibre X-One balls if you can find them there.

Not sure what's available locally for you, but perhaps just treat yourself to a brand you've never used before and try it out. We can all recommend something that *we* like, but that doesn't necessarily mean you will enjoy them.

But here's my rec anyway. Gamma Pro Tour, kinda a heavier ball. I like it more during warm weather. Cold weather is a different story.

Funny, on a whim I just bought two cases of those (Regular Duty) from one of the sports box stores (they had 30% off + free shipping). Sounds like I might like them as I prefer heavier balls.

Hmm, that didn't come out right...

Just remember to keep those heavy balls warm.

Is there a ball with the name, Wilson 2? Is this really a Wilson Championship that just happens to have a 2 printed on it?

Dunlop grand prix, Penn ATP Extra Duty, Prince made a good ball, cept no more.

Muppet 12-20-2012 08:03 AM

Are the Dunlop 'A Player' balls worth it? I can get 6 cans for $18+ship. Or I could go the safe route and get Grand Prix balls, 12 cans for $33+ship. I don't really need that many balls though. I've been using the Dunlop Championship balls for the longest time. What would the upgrade buy me?

Has anyone noticed that the penn championships are realy Heavier then the Wilson us open 2?
