the most forgiving players racquet?

Which players racquet is the most forgiving stick currently? Which players racquet does have the biggest sweetspot? Please do not talk about tweeners here. :)

By definition most players racquets are demanding. However, if you are looking for a forgiving but low powered stick, look at a radical oversize. The microgel is only $90 and many on this board consider it better than the current version.

Yonex make the biggest and the best.

Babolat PS tour is good, as is the current ig prestige.

You have to settle on a headsize first, though.

Dasol 12-20-2012 05:29 PM

I am just curious about which players stick you guys think is less demanding. (I am not asking in order to buy a players racquet:)).

For example, I think Pure Storm Tour is more forgiving and has larger sweetspot than Prestige Pro, though both of them are demanding players racquets.

Bartelby 12-20-2012 05:50 PM

It still depends somewhat on head size, even if you're not buying.

Ok, for headsize, I am thinking about midplus size, and midplus that I mean is between 95 and 100.

I play the IG Prestige Pro, and when string at lower tension (<50) I find it to be very forgiving with a sweet spot greater than the Babolat. Best racquet of all time for my game.

Pure storm gt or radical mp

parasailing 12-20-2012 06:58 PM

Pure Storm Tour GT or if you can find one, the Pro Stock 260.2 aka Radical MP in 16x19 string pattern with silicon injected in the handle which is the softest and most plush racquet I had a chance to use.

JackB1 12-20-2012 07:38 PM

Yonex Vcore 95d

Radical Pro or Mp

Speed Mp

Prince Rebel 98

Ronaldo 12-20-2012 07:52 PM

Volkl C10 pro, easy, lotta pop. Need some headspeed though.

Jacklondon00 12-20-2012 08:11 PM

I am also looking for a 93 to 98 square inch version that is more forgiving than my 89.5 sq inch PC600.

My 2 cents, there are lots of frames that are more forgiving, most 11.5 to 12oz + racquet with a larger 93+ headsize are more forgiving that the PC600, but the key is feedback and control, and I still can't find a 93 to 98 frame that provides good feedback. By feedback I mean, after you hit the ball you know exactly what kind of ball you hit and where it's going to end up. The worst for me were the Babolat's, I think due to the woofers. The Dunlop 200G MW were actually very close to the prestige in feel, but I did not think the extra 5 sq inches did anything with regard to forgiveness, and I tested them side by side with the same string and tension.

UCSF2012 12-20-2012 09:59 PM

That's easy. Prince EXO3 Graphite 93, since the strings are suspended from OUTSIDE the frame. Balls hit an inch from the outer rim still have pop.

Interesting... many different opinions!:)

I did not see many comments on Wilson, so do you guys think wilson players racquets are quite demanding compared to others?

Do you mean "Extreme Pro"? I am not sure if there is the Speed Pro racquet.
