2k12 vs Vapor 9?

Can anyone who has own both give me a comparison please? Thank you!

The 2k12 feels a tad heavier, stable, and more durable than the Vapor. However, the cuff/topline ( go to this link if my terminology is confusing: http://www.independentsole.com/stora...=1315971830226 ) ripped at the top after about two months. But I was glad they lasted that long, in fact they lasted over half a year if I recall correctly. The Vapor 9's on the other hand offered me more quickness due to their lighter weight, and it also had better traction, ventilation, and of course nice aesthetics. The durability wasn't quite up to par as the 2k12, but at least the cuff didn't wear out at all. Come to think of it, the Vapors had pretty much equal stability just less durability. Honestly, I much preferred the Vapors because of their quickness and because I live in Arizona where I need highly ventilated shoes.

I also forgot to mention, the 2k12's, once broken in, became very roomy and my toes sometimes hurt because of that. The Vapors fit like a glove for my medium-width feet. Happy holidays!

I have both shoes. I much prefer the V9 because they're not as stiff. I think the 2k12 is probably much more durable outsole. The v9 is lower to the ground, which I prefer. The tongue on the 2k12 is too short, IMO. The v9 is wider.

Go with the v9, you won't be sorry.

Agreed. V9 is overall just a better shoe.

And regarding durability, I found that the midsole was exposed quicker on the V9s but on the 2K12 I ground them down and there was absolutely no tread left on the whole entire toe area. V9 has more spongy midsole so this is probably why.

The 2k sole is basically just a clay/herringbone pattern which happens to be very versatile if your using them for both surfaces. Unfortunately too much hard court will wear them down quickly.

This is my opinion.
Durability : Vapor 9 ( vapor 9 last a week more than 2k12 but both shoes will last about 70-80 hrs or 4-7 weeks for me).
Comfort : Vapor 9
Price : 2K12 ( probably $10-20 cheaper than vapor 9).
Overall, vapor 9 is better shoes in my opinion but pricewise 2k12 is more attractive.

Thank you all guys!

Forgot to mention that I have 2 V9 already and is happy with them apart from stability. I'm going to buy one more
"flame pack" Nike and is wondering if 2k12 is worth the try or should I stick with the V9.

When I go back to my 2k12 from the V9 I think they are too narrow and the soles feel too firm and stiff. I won't get another pair of 2k12 no matter how cheap...V9 is the ultimate

Maybe wait for new air max ???
It might be better than 2k12 and cheaper than vapor 9 plus it has a warranty too ^_^

The 2K12s are more durable and are more narrow compared to the vapor 9's. Also the tongue on the 2K12s is shorter than on the vapor's.

Yeah the 2k12 feels very firm under your feet.. Cushioning not great.
