Calculate racquet swingweight
How can I calculate a racquet swingweight?
(if possible I'd rather understand and calculate it myself rather than use a webpage to do so... ) |
Without a piece of specialist equipment, use this link
http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/lear...wingweight.php Regards Paul |
or you could get swingTool app on the iPhone
|
You cannot! At least not accurately. Even with equipment you need to do it a few times to get the correct swingweight.

It is not in Technical Tennis, but I have heard it is in Lindsay & Cross's earlier, more detailed book on tennis equipment physics (the title of which escapes me). |

Have you tried this?! Does it really work? |
Got consistently using the app:
Wilson k factor six-one 95: 336 (very close to TWA value, 338 ) Tecnifibre t-fight 320: 311 (quite different from TWA value, 324) (considering weight from strings, anti-dampener and overgrip, and balance considering them) |
Is swingtool available on the Windows 8 Phone app store? (Probably not, but worth a shot)
