I don't mean to be a smart aleck (for once), but you would probably be better off asking them instead of asking us:

I believe so, and if so I remember correctly its something like 50k a year. RPNY does anyone's sticks at a much more reasonable cost. Then there is 1stservicetennis.com or something like that that our local board member Geoff does, and I absolutely love his work.

Yes. Just have to pay for whatever level and services you want/need of course...

It's pretty expensive.... you're better off with RPNY

You should shoot them an email detailing your needs. Price depends on what you are looking to have done
Their gold and silver services are for serious serious players.
I doubt RPNY is much cheaper (I personally feel their reputation is slightly overrated). But then if you're going to these (P1/RPNY/Bosworth) guys for custom work, you shouldn't really be worried about price.
If you're just looking for racquet matching and/or general customization, you should contact TW. I believe their price is $20 a racquet.

May I pose two questions? Is the OP a rec player? Secondly, if the op is, then is it really worth spending alot of money on a service that isnt needed. I mean, precise racquets at the level RPNY & P1 provide must need a high level stroke to obtain the best out of. A rec player (such as my self) might be better off using TW's service and matching sticks that way.

I'm willing to bet there are many people here with more money than sense, and for whom using the services of P1 is no different to me using my local dry cleaner.

DownTheLineWith90 01-06-2013 03:26 AM

P1 charges about $150 for each racket for customization in matching balance, weight, and swing weight.

paul_tennis 01-06-2013 05:06 AM

Anyone know how much P1 charges for making a specific handle mold ?

DownTheLineWith90 01-06-2013 06:21 AM

I bet they charge more if you want a custom handle..

geekydeveloper 01-06-2013 07:22 AM

I was just corious I was aware it's expensive and just wanted to know how much

To answer:

They have a silver level which gives you 30 frames to be customized, no expiry date and includes a custom handle.

Below that is bronze level and includes a custom handle. Price depends on how much they have to do.

I have used P1 for when I was playing futures. I had some work done before using P1 by RPNY.

For me P1 is the best in the world and I love the team. Nate and Ron are simply amazing.

I never ever once had an issue. They are very fair with prices. I think if people want it and are willing to pay a little P1 is well worth every dollar.

I would contact them and see what they can do.

Hope that helps.

I don't mean to hijack, but does anyone know of any service local to California (preferably the LA area)? I need my racquets so instead of shipping one or two at a time, and waiting for them to be delivered, I would rather just drop off and pick up.

Thanks
