Strings for PS six one 95
I just got A PS 95 and I don't what ploy to use considering it needs to be cheap and give me a bit of free power.
Any suggestions welcome. |
Free power? From a poly?
Pro's Pro Vendetta? MSV Co-Focus? Polystar Energy? TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch) Seriously, I have clients who like BHBR17/OGSM17 @ 52/56 in their BLX and (k) 6.1 95's. |
A decent multi would be good. I like Volkl Power Fibre II and Tecnifibre NRG2 but they are expensive as sets - reel price is better on both.
Low priced multis - maybe TF MultiFeel, Bab Addition, of AlphaGut 2000. I have played all of these and they are very good. Syn gut would be another less expensive choice - Volkl Syn Gut, Pro Supex Spiral Flex, Gosen, or Klip Kicker are all good. |
If you really want poly Co-Focus is going to be one of your best choices.

This is a very under powered racket in stock form. If you use poly, I would either use it as a cross with soft mains strings and also keep the tension low.
I string this racket for a friend and he is using bab 16g gut mains at 55 lbs with Kirschbaum spiky shark crosses at 50 lbs. He likes the power from the gut and the poly cross adds a touch of control and spin. |
Cool beans cheers
