Players frames good for synthetic gut?

I've got a stash of synthetic gut, nylon 16 g. stuff, and I'm wondering what players frames do well with this.

There are plenty of expensive strings out there. . . but I'm wondering the other side of the coin: what players frames do pretty well with regular synthetic gut?

I'm using it in my racquets with more open patterns - 16 mains - including my Volkl C10's and Yonex RD Ti-80's. It's not so fragile in that application compared with 17 ga. syn. gut and also rather easy to dial in the tension. In a more dense pattern, I like the feel I get with 17 ga. syn. gut, especially with my mids. The thicker strings all crowded together can just seem too clunky for me.

The two syn. guts I'm stocked with right now are Gosen OG Micro and Tecnifibre reels, but I've always liked Prince Original Syn. Gut, too. (not so fond of their Duraflex product)

I agree : the duraflex was a step backwards for them. I like Gosen as well.

I'm just wondering how much poly people are using; if that's all people use nowadays.

For what it's worth, I've seen success in the 4.0-4.5 levels using full beds of either Gosen OG Sheep Micro 17 or Klipper Synthetic Gut 17 in my Wilson 6.1 18x20s.
