Compare Yonex R-22 and RX-32

Hi all
Just picked these up yesterday. Have not had a chance to hit with them, but the R-22 seems to sing a little easier and faster than the RX-32 in my hand.
Anyone have a chance to hit with both? If so, could you outline the experience you had with each, and their differences?
Thanks

I found the R22 to be really nice to hit with. However, I personally liked RX32 even more (not sure if it was because of the oval head shape). Both were well made.

The RX32 is - from what I've felt - the best that Yonex has ever done.

It feels a lot more stable than the 22 and for me, it hit a heavier ball. Flex is very similar between the 2 sticks. In my hands the 32 feels a little heavier, but I think they spec quite closely to each other.

Fantastic stick.

I owned two R-22s and still own two RX-32s. I found the RX-32s to be a bit heavier, and more head light. They are stiffer and noticeably more stable in play. The RX-32 is 27in while the R-22s are 26.5in length. All my rackets were SL (superlight) 4 1/2. There are versions of each that are heavier so when comparing weights you have to take that in account. Overall the RX-32 is a significantly better racket for me. However, my max 200g pro outshines it in all departments, so I relegated the Rx-32 to occasional practice. I sold the R-22s.

Yes, the RX 32 is certainly heavier to swing compared with the R-22. Could not test them yesterday, what with the temperature in Sydney reaching 42 Celsius ( 108 Fahrenheit). Yeah, I know, that's no excuse...

All my RX32's were SL and weighed around 12.55oz/355gms, except for one (I think L) that weighed 13.33oz/378gms. The heavier one felt like a 90" version of Head Graphite Edge and played great. The lighter SL versions were great as well.

How old is the R22? Looks like an 80s racquet. I just bought one today for $6.99, can't wait to test it.

Hi Gonzalito
Had a chance to hit with both the R-22 and R-32 yesterday.

R-22 is lighter to swing, cuts through the air easier, easy access to topspin. Heavy ball. Good slice.

R-32 feels like it has a heavier SW, less spin, probably due to the SW, equally hefty ball.

Only did groundstrokes. No chance to volley or serve.

I hit less errors with the 90 sq in Yonex's than I do with my Dunlop 4D 200 Tour.
I actually think the access to topspin is better on the Yonex's, despite the old strings.

Okay
More info.

R-22 : Weight with overgrip and strung is 360g, 8 pts HL. Stringmeter reference tension 40 lbs.

RX-32: Weight with overgrip and strung is 368g, 9 pts HL. Stringmeter reference tension mid 50s. Could explain why topspin was less.

Thanks Demo it sounds like a fantastic piece of machinery. Can't wait to hit with it. Played a tourney today in Tampa but used my ol reliable Volkl which got me to the final tomorrow at 10:30 am, will use this Yonex next week, and share thoughts.
