Federer Aussie Open 2013 outfit same as 2010?

Hey, is it just me or does Fed's Aussie Open 2013 outfit look pretty much the same as the one he wore at the Aussie Open in 2010?
He was part of the Kids Day event today and was wearing this oufit...

Color might be similar but it's different. One has buttons and the other has a zipped. Rf logo is in different area etc...and $10 expensive too hahaha.

DownTheLineWith90 01-12-2013 05:41 AM

wow!
I just realized how similar they are.
That's interesting..

GOAT is trying to channelGOAT to the W.

Lot of grey (and some white) with blue (fed) or purple (nadal) contrasts at Nike and grey (and white) with yellow at Adidas.

I think the bigger issue: so was it Tomic or Murray who sent SpongeBob out to try to kneecap Roger?

jokinla 01-12-2013 07:04 AM

Yes, so many seem to be salivating over this "neo turquoise", but to me its just another minimally different shade of blue that we've seen several times in the last few years, nothing new.

Bartelby 01-12-2013 07:06 AM

Tomic needs to swap out of his black briefs if he wants to wear white shorts.

Homeboy Hotel 01-12-2013 07:34 AM

I'm not sure if he's wearing that as his AO outfit, he's got a grey version instead...

Edit: No, you may be right. RF had some 'chose the sneakers I wear' competition, and since the chosen kicks are blue - he's probably decided he's going to wear the AO-2010 like tee instead of his grey shirt with the black/pink V9's...

They're a little different, but the shade of blue is a little more "yellowish", thus there are the details in black, the different enclosure...

I prefer the 2010 one =P

My exact thoughts.

I was under the impression that the grey/black/pink outfit is going to be the night-match outfit.

I agree in all accounts however, material is very different :)

Bartelby 01-12-2013 02:59 PM

The material looks and drapes well on tv, but I am yet to try it on.

Great, I can't wait for some photochop capable people to take off running with that first pic. He looks like he just got punched in the gut by Sponge Bob.

spoonmugen 01-12-2013 04:23 PM

zip + bad swoosh positioning...
previous shirt was heaps better...

lolminraise 01-12-2013 06:54 PM

2005 AO is pretty similar too.

DownTheLineWith90 01-12-2013 07:51 PM

So much better than the grey/pink.

Thankfully he will be in green for the clay season.
