Racquet Bags
What do you guys do for bags? I'm looking at these:
1. Head Elite Series 9 Pack Supercombi Bag 2. Head Elite Series 6 Pack Combi Bag 3. Babolat Aero Line Black/Yellow 9-Pack Bag 4. Babolat Team Line Blue 9 Pack It would most likely hold 2 Pure Storms and 1 RadMP, shoes, towel, clothes, balls, notebook, hats, socks, deodorant, phone, energy bars. It would also double as a suitcase in the summer. What do you think would be more suitable? I like that option 1 has a divider in one of the compartments, but I'm not sure if it would be too big compared to option 2. Option 3 also works because of the rigid shell. What are your opinions? thanks :) |
I suggest looking into the new Head Tour Team Blue 6 pack bag. Its pretty big for a 6 pack. Only $39.99. WITH a CCT compartment.

If you are going to get the babolat team line 9 pack get the 12 pack trust me. I own one and its really good looking and all but its a little too small. I was going to get the 9 pack but i found that it was too small. Even the 12 pack is small for an average 12 pack. youre going to find that you could only fit a few things than other 12 packs. I cant put more than 2 racquets on the climacool technology compartment because it will just squish my racquets other than that great bag
And since you use babolat use a babolat bag too match the brand but its you choice if you would want a different bag or not |

does the 9 pack have 2 main compartments or three? and do you find the 12 pack to be too gigantic on your back while carrying it? thanks |

bump. I read some reviews that the 12 pack babolat's zippers open when you grab the straps. is this true?

However, the zippers on my Babolat Aero 12pack (bright-***** yellow one) aren't the smoothest. |

I wanted a 9pack with 3 main compartments but I'm not able to find something like it |

- 2 insulated compartment (though more and more bags are offering that now) - Portable water cooler - It's got hard shell so it doesn't collapse. What I don't like: - It's a SMALL 12pack. Honestly, I think some of the 9 packs out there are as big as this 12pack. Babolat advertise it as a 12pack, but fitting 4 frames in those insulated compartment requires some Tetris skills, and I use Tour 90's. - Not much organization here. It's a bag with 4 big compartments. So things be jiggling. |
this thread reminds me of this cartoon

what do you think about the Babolat Team Line Blue 9 Pack? that's what I'm learning towards at the moment. I will also consider the aero 12 too though. I just feel like it would be too big.
|
The aero 12 is actually much bigger than the team line 12 which i dont really like. So stick with the team line 9 pack. Just remember that it might be a little small for a 9 pack.
|
Here i took some pics of my 12 pack team line. Only the 12 pack comes with the climacool compartment (Only on one side) And the 12 comes with a tiny compartment thats ventilated to put wet clothes in. And it comes with a shoe bag. It kinds looks big in the picture but it actually looks small in person. And sorry for the big pics

I've used the speed monstercombi & prestige monstercombis. The 2012 head bags are a bit on the small side of "super" or "monster" combi bags. Currently using the 2012 djokovic monstercombi and I travel a lot for university tennis so it doubles as my suitcase. I fit about what you put in there and then some. It's definitely bulging like a boss but it holds up. A normal head 6pack back probably will not be big enough for you.

I ended up going with the 9. It's a good size and is made well I think. Thanks guys
