Tennis shoes: Comfort and ankle protection

Hi! i have flat and medium width feet. i am looking for a comfortable shoe that also protects the ankles. I have been using Yonex 308 and when I play with them I do not experience ankle pain. But, when I use the Asics Solutions I experience a bit of discomfort in my left ankle, especially if I play aggresively.
So, are theres any suggestions in terms of a comfortable shoe that also protects the ankles?
(I tried Nike Vapor Tours but I returned them as they felt too loose in the back of my ankles)
Thanks

Have you tried the Ballistecs? They are my favorite shoe right now.

I had Barricade 5 and they wete really narrow and uncomfortable. They also had some type of defect in the heel area on one of the shoes. But this was probably about 3 years ago. I have heard that the new models are more comfortable. Are they?
