What's the record for double faults in an atp match?

Monfils hit 23 last night, that has to be up there

Technically, I wouldn't consider it an ATP match, as grandslams are run by ITF. Anyways, it was a lot, but someone certainly has had over 40 I think. Got to be, right?

You already looked at some Coria stats?

Rosset DFed 26 times vs Michael Joyce @ '95Wimby!

I have a feeling that Guillermo Coria probably holds the record for the most double faults in a match. His double faulting on serve got so bad that it led to the premature end of his career!

Gerald Patterson won a 5-set final @'27AO hitting 29 aces and 29 DFs!

Never saw so many DF's on match point!

I read on the AO website that he peaked in the 5th with 14 DFs only in this set, including 3 in a row to gift the break back and 5 only in the last game.
