Adidas Barricade 8s in 2013
 

So I just finished browsing through the Fall 2013 Team catalog from Adidas and I noticed that the new Barricade is set for a June 2013 release, which is quite odd seeing as how the 7s just came out last year. Is Adidas stopping the 2 year trend now?

I'd post pics but it would be against forum rules, however I would have to say they look a lot like the 7s, but with a tiny bit of added stuff. Almost like a 7+5, cosmetic wise.

Heard the same thing from a tennis shop owner. June release for B8s

I felt like throwing up after seeing them. They dont look nice.

Seen the shoes in person and they look quite good. We are getting 2 colour ways here - mainly black with white, silver & red, and then a mainly white with red & black trims. Don't look too bad.

The new red & blue feathers look great too.

Getting very tired of the red/blue/yellow that Adidas is giving us.

Hoping for some greens/purples for Spring 2014.

I plan on stocking up on 7s unless when I see the "actual" shoe and it does in fact look better.

barricades are better bang for your buck if you find a nice colorway then yes but they don't look as sleek as vapors imo

If anyones wondering, they're under "Adidas Utilities". Currently just in the development stages so it's a pretty bad way to tell how the real thing will be like. The heel piece looks extremely weird to me.

The heel looks "interesting" on the 8.0s in the Team catalogue. Other than that it looks relatively similar to the 7.0 with an additional colour band perpendicular to the stripes.

Yes,not looking good, i wonder why Adidas promotes his 8's where 7 were selling good?

I just read the catalog and saw this

"Outsole: Stability claws help maintain quick cuts and fast footwork during extreme lateral movements and changes in direction."

On the bottom it states that there's adiwear 6, but it doesn't exactly specify in the outsole description about whether there's a 6-month durability guarantee. Can anyone confirm they are still doing it?

adiwear 6 is the outsole with the guarantee. Always.

Thanks, but the Barricade team also has Adiwear 6 for the outsole but doesn't come with the guarantee.
