Tomic's Cross String

Anyone know?

prestige.head 01-26-2013 06:39 PM

I would say ALU or Tour Bite, but it looks twisted by the grommets

That string looks black, so I don't think it's tour bite or ALU.

....I was being sarcastic.

I read somewhere here that he was using Infinity Strings, from Australia. Apparently they also have a black string that Wawrkinka was also trying, so it could be it.

QFT. I also know someone who strung for him when he won in Sydney

Flex Infinity strings have a crazy price tag. Comparable to gut. Ouch...

Crisp 01-29-2013 01:28 PM

Flex strings are on the expensive side. I use them in all my racquets and those who I string for that are string breakers. If you use them you must drop the tension by at least 5lbs from your usual tension.

He no longer uses them - at the moment (last AO) he is playing with gut mains and Signum Pro Tornado crosses.
