Most Satisfying Meal

For pure gluttony, I gotta say cheeseburger, fries, chocolate shake. It meets our three favorite food cravings - fatty, salty, sweet.

How 'bout you?

After a 4 hour slugfest, carne asada fries.

Chick slick (chicken pastry), green beans, sweet potato casserole, and rolls.

Also, a pitcher of fresh-brewed sweet tea.

acura9927 02-03-2013 07:25 PM

SW China food, spicy beef and tomatoes.

Twice now, I've had a meal from Cracker Barrel and after 1.5 hours went to play and played great. The meal was Roast Beef w/mash potatoes and gravy, corn and carrots. Carbs and protein with some fat... maybe a bit more fat that I'd want, but it's good and I don't go hypoglycemic during the match and play like crap. lol

pork cheek, ossobucco style, with polenta or mashed potatoes.

The Meat 02-04-2013 06:16 AM

Roast beef, mash potatoes, roasted corn on the cob with butter, boiled carrots and broccoli with a white sauce, and a nice bun. So satisfying that I might run over to publix to buy some groceries to make some lunch before tennis.

albino smurf 02-04-2013 07:32 AM

mashed potatoes seem to be a common thread

Add bacon, and then we're talking.

TACO BELL!!! The heaven lasts for about 30 mins before I at home crying on the toilet.

ollinger 02-04-2013 09:25 AM

^^ Taco Bell made the news last year when they had to redefine what they meant by "meat," just as Subway recently clarified that a "footlong" does not refer to length.

Option1:
Sea food platter, parsley/basil/garlic/olive oil/balsammic pesto, rice, baked potato, garlic bread or pita, Greek sallad, Chardonnay, Tiramisu, Espresso or Cappuccino.

Option2:
BBQ palatter served on bed of chopped onions, fries or baked potato, Greek sallad or roast Hungarian long peppers in garlic and oil, pita, Cabernet/Merlot, a rich chocollate cake, Espresso.

Lots of iced watter with both, please.

Shrimp, ham & andouille jambalaya with a side of fried okra.

stoo 02-04-2013 10:56 AM

Home made slow cooker bbq pulled pork sandwiches on fresh baked sub buns with a big mess of coleslaw on the side and several frosty pints to wash it all down.

I just made this last night (although I used Andouille sausages, shrimp & chicken)! Delicious and filling.

Change that slow cooker to 5 or 6 hours in a smoker and then go ahead and put the slaw right on top of the pork instead of on the side. That's good eatin'.
