Thinnes replacement grip available?

Hi,

currently using Prince' Resi Thin grip, I am looking for something little thinner, if available. Previous to Resi Thin I haved used Babolat Skin Feel, however, prefer the Prince over the Babolat.
If some other grip is a bit thinner, though, pls let me know.

Thanks, gd!

You can try tourna pro thin replacement grip.

maxply 02-15-2013 02:34 PM

yes the 2 thinnest are the tourna pro thin 1.25 mm thick and the RPNY synthetic leather also 1.25. I use both the RPNY is firmer and as a result feels a bit thicker.
The tourna is more cushioned and feels thinner and more comfy.
Also the RPNY is ment to be used with an over grip only , the Tourna can be used without.

Can anyone tell me which is thicker, Dunlop Gecko Tac or Gamma RZR Dri? I'm hoping to get more bevel feel For my Dunlop racquet, and the stock Gecko Tac doesn't cut the mustard.

Thank you

Kimony Techni Leather

0.8 mm

Strangely, the Tourna Thin grip is neither available at TW nor at any EU site. Is it a very new grip, is doesn't look like some unsual stuff, TW won't plan to sell......

There is only 1 dealer here in Europe, who offers the Thin Grip, however, got it today.
Currently using Prince Resi Thin + Volkl V-Tac, I can now consider the Tourna offering more cushion without being larger. Overgrip is now Mantis Peforma Tac, this offers a tackier feel versus the V-Tac. Total racquet weight is now 1g less.

cheers...

The RZR Dri grip turned out to be the same thickness as the Gecko stock grip, and it feels much more sustantial. The new grip added just 2 grams. I am very pleased with the firm comfort and medium amount of tackiness. It feels on the rubbery side, but not too soft. A little better feel for the bevels too.

Tourna Pro Thin turned out to be very good!

Really made the grip a size smaller. Feels pretty much like Prince Resi* to the touch. Provides impressive suspension/dampening for its 1.25 mm thickness, but this is not for the players who squeeze the handle too much too often. Must be excellent base grip to use with overgrip.

Karakal PU super grip is easily the thinnest

We are collecting all grip specs (mass and thickness) into one central thread. I have posted the weight and thickness for well over one hundred grips and OGs there. If anybody has any specs to add, please feel free to contribute. Thanks!

Hi, Jack!
That's impressive work, thanks a lot! Let me find precision scales first, not sure if kitchen ones are good enough :/

Roy Thinnes was great in the Invaders from '67-'68.
Didn't realize he was in the grip biz. Huh...Live and Learn.
