Great Deal Today

For $25, I got 3 packs of Babolat VS Team 17G (before the BT7), 2 360' reels of Gamma TNT 17G (for crosses) and a pack of Sufix Pro Hex 16G.

I can't find any info on any Sufix string, does someone know how this stuff plays?

ultradr 02-21-2013 12:13 PM

you mean pro supex?

No, the outside of the packaging and the plastic piece that keeps the string bundled together says Sufix. So from what I can see, that is the brand and Pro Hex (found on the inside of the packaging) is the name of the string. I can upload a picture later if that helps

That sounds much more reasonable. Like seriously, all that for $25? No way.

No sir, it was $25. Add from the list de la craig. a 15 minute drive and a simple transaction. It was a lady who lived in a ritzy development, maybe she tried tennis for a bit then gave up on it. I will post pics all all the string today

And she put out the offer in her response email, not me

You are one lucky son of a gun!

TheLambsheadrep 02-22-2013 06:08 PM

I do believe that to be true, even though I'm more of a racquet enthusiast and am always looking to snag a deal on a stick or two that I'm interested in. I've never tried gut before, but I've been on the boards long enough to know this stuff is essentially the best around. I will prob try a half set and see if it's something I should keep using or use in a racquet trade...

Well, I did say they might end up on the for sale thread, but I will have to get assemble a list of viable wants first. I'll keep you guys posted

tyu1314 02-23-2013 01:46 PM

That lady probably got those things as a gift, or maybe she is just mad at her hushand so she sell his stuff for a price that she think is reasonable.:)

Congrats..it feels like my area is not tennis crazy so I don't feel like my craigslist has much of a tennis gear selection. If you decide to put them on sale I sure would be interested in the gamma reel. I haven't been stringing too long but my first and only gamma challenger 17g reel is running very low.
