Ankle Ligament Surgery...anyone with experience?

Last summer I slid on the court moving forward and tore the outside anterior talofibular ligament. The deltoid ligament was also tore. I had xrays and an mri, and the advice from my doc was to rehab and see if all would heal. After 6 months, the deltoid healed, but the talofibulat was still loose and I had swelling daily. I had keyhole surgery to tighten up the calceneo ligament a week ago.

Have any of you had this surgery?

How long was your recovery?

Did you recover to 100%?

Any advice?

Thank you.

I tore the ligament that hold your a ankle bone together and broke my leg and Ankle several years ago ---did it figure skating. My advice would be to do your PT religiously. I did my exercises all the time and now there is only a small difference in my ankles that only I can tell.
