Is it a good idea to twist the flex bar as a arm warmup before playing?
The purpose of the Flexbar is for strength training. You probably don't want to exhaust your arm muscle before playing, just like you wouldn't want to lift weights before playing. Your muscles need time to recover before you play.
However, doing a light routine with one of the flexier bars like the Red, would probably be ok for stretching your wrist and forearm.
