Clay Court Shoes worth while?

Hi.

I usually buy all court shoes, meaning that they are basically hard-court shoes.
I normally have one pair that i use for playing on clay just so when i go and play on indoor hard courts i wont have clay and dirt all over the place. I now use babolat porpulse 3 for hard courts and a pair of asics gel game for clay.

I started buying less expensive shoes (in the "Team" range, i.e. Gel Game instead of Gel Resolution) because they last longer on clay and do not need so much stability and traction.

But now I started thinking, should I buy specifically clay court shoes? What are the big differences? Will i notice different racton on clay?

some shoes are suitable with clay. i'm worried about the clay build up on the soles. while i was at spain, the officials told me that having a clay specific shoe would be best.

the tred pattern on clay shoes should make it easier to get the clay out so that when you want traction it's there for you.
Personally, if i'm regularly playing indoor or grass i'll buy a pair of specific trainers
