Solnico tour bite 19ga.

Anyone tried this? I put this in my Pacific Xforce Pro at 48/46 and was really impressed with the overall performance. Pop and spin were huge, while feel and comfort were better then any previous versions I have tried.

I've got a set but haven't strung it in yet.

Thanks for the review!

I tried it out. It's pretty much what you would expect (and what the OP reported): a more lively stringbed than the thicker gauges with a softer feel.

I prefer the power/spin/control balance of the thicker Tour Bites, but to each his own.

seekay, what gauge do you use on your k six.one 95 16x18?And what tension?
I have a ncode six.one 95 16x18 and I'm just trying solinco tour bite 17 (1.20mm) I have been tempted to use 18g (1.15) but someone told me it's too thin for a 16x18 pattern. Could you tell us the best gauge for your racket you found and how much time before string goes dead?I'd like to have 10 hours of good play from this string ;)

I really like thinner gauges, I almost exclusively play with 1.20mm or thinner. I tried Tourbite 1.15 and it was good but it lost tension for me soon. It did stabilize and the performance settled to something of the average 1.20mm poly after 3˝hrs.
It would be nice if somebody could comment on tension maintenance for this 1.10mm gauge, that is, if it don't snap:)

My standard string is 17ga BHB7 at 48lb, but I've tried out Tour Bite 16, 16L, 18, and 19 in the 16x18 frame (all around 48-50lb). They all work well and last me at least 10 hours (with thicker strings staying playable longer). I think the 16L would be my favorite of the bunch, but that's personal preference as much as anything objective.

The weird thing is that I come from dunlop black widow @ 53/51lbs and I found a lot of spin besides softness. Now I'm trying TB 17 (1.20) and I do not find the same amount of spin of black widow, plus the stringbed is really stiff as hell. I would imagine 16L gauge :O
Maybe I like more live strings, BUT I don't like hybrid, too soft. I'm curious about other TB gauges, but maybe the best thing to do is try TB soft.
