What's Bernard Tomic's racket?
String broke on mine last night, so the head coach gave me one of his to use for a few games. Didnt catch the name of it, but he said Tomic uses it. It was a Yonex. Felt really heavy and uncomfortable. A lot of weight down the bottom. Head size tiny. Weight distribution was awkward. Serving was a nightmare. Probably is a great racket, but Im just not used to it after having the same piece of c*** racket for so long.

At the Australian Open 2013, Tomic used a Head Radical 16x19.

edit: forget what the prostock code for it is: TGK260.2 or something like that.

Well, there are two answers, really..

You probably hit with a thing called a V-Core 98, or maybe a V-Core 89T even

However, Tomic doesn't use them anymore after his fairly disastrous 2012.

Tomic has gone back to his Head radicals I think..

I've heard from a friend who knows the Yonex Rep for the U.S. Mid-West they are none too happy with Tomic right now. They spent countless R&D hours building a prototype racquet just for him and he won't play with it. He plays with a blacked out HEAD frame.

thought his main 'racket' was getting pulled over whilst driving his BMW, Lamborghini etc... :)

Looking around I think it was the VCore xi 98. Felt so weird playing with the small a head.

Tomic is using the YONEX VCORE 98D Tennis Racquet

Its a TGT/TGK 260.1 (or .2)

I had a TGT 260.3 which he was testing

Its blacked out so keeps Yonex somewhat happy, but he may go back if they can make him a softer frame.

In the end i think he played better with the head pro stock.
