Solinco TB alternative ?

Hi, I would like to try this string, but i cann't get any solinco products in my country. Are there any polys with similar performance ? I play with SP Tornado which may be similar according to some reviews, but is any poly out there which performs even closer to TB ?

Not that I have found yet but I do really like Dunlop Juice as an alternative to Tour Bite. It has a similar power/spin combination but feels a little softer.

Which country do you live in?

TierOne Firewire has been compared to it, not as much pop as TB but similar bite and comfort. Check them out and see if they can deliver to you.

We have heard from many customers that Durafluxx plays similar to Tour Bite. Durafluxx appears to feel a bit softer.

Yep, Durafluxx feels very similar to Tour Bite and Tour Bite Soft. Softer than regular TB but firmer than TBS. I wouldn't be surprised if Durafluxx is produced in the same factory. Both are made in Taiwan and packaging is identical.

Durafluxx is a very nice string.

FireWire 17 is also an excellent string as well. i love it in the mains. it's a bit more elastic, but not to the point where directional control is compromised. due to the triangular cross section, it resists notching so lasts quite awhile. it also holds tension quite well. i've been crossing it with PolyStar Energy and the FireWire mains are still going strong by the time Energy has lost too much tension.

highly recommend both Durafluxx and FireWire!

Try Tour Bite 19 for it is a great string.

Given your post in the other thread about the Graphene Speed Pro, what tension would you recommend stringing the TB 19? Also, have you tried the TBS 17 and how does it compare?
