Djokovic 8 different Masters won now, only missing Cincinnati!

Having lost 4 finals, all to inspired opponents (Federer twice, Murray twice), he's got to do it this year!

NatF 04-21-2013 07:09 AM

Yes! Rooting for Djokovic to get it done this season. Will be a unique accomplishment.

kalyan4fedever 04-21-2013 07:14 AM

Fed wont allow to walk him over if they meet :)

monfed 04-21-2013 07:15 AM

Unlike Ralph, Fed won't allow it. Cincy is his baby.

Povl Carstensen 04-21-2013 07:15 AM

Ah yes, the real slam

rainingaces 04-21-2013 07:16 AM

More evidence of homogenisation? Novak winning on 90s grass vs Federer would anyone make Djokovic favourite?

powerangle 04-21-2013 07:33 AM

Hope he does it. :)

Tenez101 04-21-2013 07:34 AM

He'll probably do it this year or next. It's surprising how he hasn't won it yet.

Because its only left moderate fast court and nole does not like fast courts

Fiji 04-21-2013 07:53 AM

Cincinnati will be harder because TWO players can stop him, Federer and Murray.

Wow, what an age we live in. We've got Federer grabbing a record breaking 17 majors, 11 of them in a 4 year stretch, Nadal grabbing a record breaking 7 RG & 8 consecutive Monte Carlo's, Djokovic grabbing 8 of the 9 masters shields...

And Murray grabbing every part of his body when he's losing

Federer, Murray, Delpo..all these guys can beat Djokovic there. Also interestingly Djokovic has reached 4 cincy finals ( 2 against fed and 2 against Murray) and has not won a SET! although he retired in the 2011 match after the first.

namelessone 04-21-2013 09:02 AM

So far Cincy for Djoko seems to be like Miami for Nadal.

A tourney with many finals but no wins.

Except Djokovic has had to play a far superior player at Cincy(Fed in case you were wondering) as opposed to Ralph whos had no such unsurmountable challenge at Miami.

It's even worse. He hasn't even won a set there yet, and has even been bagelled. Nadal has done much better in his Miami finals.

underground 04-21-2013 09:15 AM

Which means Djokovic still can't qualify the GOAT since he still hasn't won the REAL slam. :)

Two times he played Fed. And the other two times when he played Murray? What happened then? Did Andy turn Swiss for Djoko.

Nadal has lost in Miami finals to a peak Fed(2005), Davydenko(a notorius bad matchup for him) and peak Djokovic(2011).
