String tension on the Steam 99s

Has anybody at TW that plays with the 99s tried stringing them with 4G at lower tension like mid 40s?
Does it make the play too erratic? I have been stringing them with 4G in the 58-60lb range, but previous to the Steam 99s I always strung my racquets with a fairly low tension poly.

I have tried stringing my Steam 99S at a lower tension and I didn't like it. It definitely took away from the control and the stringbed felt like a trampoline.

Currently, I have my 99S strung up at 63lbs and I like it.

Same exact thing happened to my friend (on a 105s).

Thanks for the feedback. Saves me some time and money.

Poly @ 63lb?? That's a very stiff string bed on a stiff frame. Didn't Jason always talked about arm pain and stuff?
I have sensitive arms so I string at 52 hybrid. However I agree the string bed is a little bit too powerful. Volleys go long sometimes.
