I drew up some brackets for fun just now based on the rankings and potential regional spots. I tried to do what the selection crew does, keep in ranking fair and also regional.
My last team in was Michigan State as I think they will slip past SDSU and Columbia in the rankings based on their best wins and that SDSU lost to New Mexico in the MWC tournament.

what do you think? what do you think will be switched around? There are many possibilities for many teams.
Love the Stanford/Harvard matchup.
think Denver would be a #3 seed somewhere, maybe flip Denver and Ga State, Malibu is tough.
Oxford Regional would be a TCU/Ole Miss Final due to circumstances.
Maybe flip WFU and South Carolina
So Illinois has to travel to play their regional? Too bad.
do we know when this get released this year? going to be webcast again?
a quick google search failed me...
or, courtesy of a baylor post about their watch party, looks like i have found that they come out tuesday afternoon???
5 pm eastern time?
Isn't there a new rule preventing teams from the same conference from being in the same region?
Anybody heard this
I thought I heard that beginning this year the NCAA was planning on having only one school from a conference in a region. Maybe it was for the women? Anyone know anything about this?
only one conference team in a regional is going to force some SEC teams way out west, that would be interesting for sure.
I haven't heard of such rule. That would shake things up quite a bit this year.
I think Ansari has a lot of potential. He has a fast racket of both sides and can hit his forehand with a variety of pace precision and spin. He's very athletic, has a lot of fast twitch muscle allowing him to hit powerful shots from defensive positions at times. By his senior year I think he will be Clemson's #1 player.he needs to improve his serve and also get a little more mentally mature cause right now he hangs his head when a point dosent go exactly as planned even if he wins it. But I think he will improve those things.
If the conference rule does exist then teams like Alabama,NC State,Wake Forest,Northwestern will end up getting sent far.
I just looked back and they separated conference members starting last year per the policy that went into effect on 8/1/11. It is the final bullet point in the selection guidelines.
First- and Second-Round Site Selections
With the adoption of proposal 2010-108, each sports committee will comply with the bylaw to the greatest extent possible
and in doing so, the following policies will be implemented.
●● For non-revenue generating championships that seed a quarter of the bracket, sites will be awarded to the seeded
teams that submit a bid that meets the requirements for hosting. In the event that a seeded team doesn’t submit a bid
that meets the requirements, the sports committee will maintain the current policy of geographic consideration when
assigning the host sites.
●● The committee will use the geographic consideration to help maintain the balance of integrity of the selection.
●● The committee will also separate first- and second-round conference opponents when assigning teams to sites.
In that case.
Flip Northwestern and NC State, Tulsa and Auburn, South Carolina and Wake Forest, Washington and BYU, Alabama and Illinois.
