Lukas Rosol rises to 35 in the world!!

After his emotional first ATP title win in which he dedicated to his father who sadly passed away recently and after dominating the tournament beating Seppi, Troicki and Simon along the way could his rise continue or will he continue to blow hot and cold? He's not far off being seeded for slams and that's an achievement in itself after struggling to keep in the top 100 last year.

I think his good form is due to his Davis Cup exploits just wish our British players would do the same after beating much higher ranked opposition. :(

ollinger 04-29-2013 08:37 AM

He's 27: if he's blown hot and cold thus far, a dramatic change of form is not probable.

Doesn't matter. I will be more than happy if he beats Nadal again somewhere.

Great. Let's hope he is not a one hit wonder (although that hit was supermassive)

forzamilan90 04-29-2013 08:56 AM

Nice, let's keep rising

Funniest gif of all time? I think so. Did you make it?

boramiNYC 04-29-2013 09:06 AM

this indeed is more promising than winning one big match here and there. his risky style I think could take longer to perfect and his consistency has shown marked improvement. his shots are huge. they just weren't that consistent. similar game as janowicz. flat super aggressive fh. they are breath of fresh air in the current grindfest of topspin baseliners.

Its sad that talented players should be ranked 35 while the players they squash :D can be in the top 5.

Hyuck hyuck ! :D :D

NatF 04-29-2013 09:18 AM

Hopefully the bull slayer will continue to rise!

Since Rog cant do it anymore, I am sure you are desperate to have anyone else do it. PLus, I would love another Nadal-Rosol match. Rosol wont even get a set this time

Yes if it were not for Nadal losing to Rosol....Murray would have no Wimbledon Final....and no confidence to win Olympic Gold....then that escalates to no US Open.

So thank Nadal for your boy success.

Phoenix1983 04-29-2013 10:42 AM

Rosol will be seeded at the French this year and take out Nadal.

citybert 04-29-2013 11:39 AM

hip check? maybe that was Nadal's kryptonite and hurt his knee.

If anything, Rosol will rip an even larger hole in his posterior region.

Even bigger than the one Nadal ripped in Fed's posterior region?

Complete rubbish. Rosol will never beat Nadal again. He got lucky once but he will never repeat it. You people need to choose a new hero because this guy is nothing more than a one hit wonder. Did you miss him getting his a** smacked against Djesus in Miami this year? That win against Nadal was a fluke and nothing more.

Rosol's tournament win was bigger than Nadal's, so it's 2-0 H2H. Not a fluke anymore. :)

Sure it was. I'm sure Nadal is at home crying into his 11 slam trophy's and 22 master titles trophy's as we speak. Lol.
