Which Overgrip is your favorite?

Do you like the Babolat VS Original or Tournagrip original better?

Between those two I would go with Tournagrip. Get the XL version to ensure you get full grip coverage.

I would take Yonex Super Grip above all. Get black ones to avoid pesky dirt stains!

Yeah Yonex is a really good over grip, i actually used the Babolat Original and the Tournagrip i found the tournagrip to absorb sweat really well but durability is really poor i would go with the babolat original

Two of my racquets have Dunlop Viper Dry and three have Yonex Super Grap. The Dunlops are more durable and a little thicker, but the Yonexes win out. Great feeling grip.

I love Tourna, best grip out there if your hands sweat a lot.

I like the VS but it's so thin I'll put a hole on it by the end of the first set.

Pro's Pro Aquazorb in summer. Useful when hands are soaked, I don't like sticky overgrips. Much less expensive than Tourna. Not that I don't like Tourna, I just can't afford it. Trying the Ichiban now.

Although, any overgrip that nicely covers the grip and avoids the handle being soaked will do.

I tried Yonex Super Grap due to the praise I saw it continually get on these boards, and I was definitely not disappointed. Awesome feeling, and it lasts a super long time. I've tried Tourna before, and I can't say I like it. I can see it being good for those with sweaty hands, but the durability was awful (started ripping in no time), and after only a little sweat had been absorbed, it felt like a dirty rag in my hands.

Wilson Pro.

Old Gamma Supreme (of which I have around 1200 left). Should be another 10-ish years before I run out.

Tournagrip!

hisrob777 05-07-2013 05:31 PM

Black Yonex Super Grip.

darklore009 05-07-2013 06:27 PM

i would say solinco overgrip because of their tackiness

wrainsberger 05-07-2013 08:03 PM

Yonex Super Grap is the best that I have ever tried. Awesome, great durability, feel and tackiness.

I've always used Yonex Supergrap, but I am leaning towards Tourna original XL. I don't sweat loads, but my hands get tacky enough. But even with dry hands, I do like the feel of Tourna.

I will probably have one gripped with Tourna and one with Supergrap, to switch if I feel the need. I am considering the black supergrap too, white gets grubby too quickly.

I choose the Wilson pro perforated. Not getting a mention yrt so thought I'd put it out there.

McLovin 05-08-2013 02:50 AM

For years I used Wilson Pro, but recently switched to Gamma Supreme because I needed something slightly thicker. So far, so good, but summer is coming and I tend to sweat profusely. Hopefully it can handle the volume of moisture my body produces...

Yonex supergrap!

Carolina Racquet 05-08-2013 03:45 AM

Black Yonex Super Grap hands down.

anubis 05-08-2013 08:57 AM

I use Tourna Tac in the fall and winter. Yonex Super Grap in the spring and summer.

I like the black better than the white because it does not show dirt.
