Was Stringing X1 18G and it Snapped

Was stringing at 58lbs and it snapped while I was doing the mains. Using a CP machine.
Will TW make good on this.. I still have the package.

Any suggestions what to do with the 25 foot piece..Hybrid?

Wow, 58 lbs (26.3kg) is on the upper tension range even for 17 gauge X-One (1.24mm).

It's definitely too high for 18 gauge string (which is only 1.18mm thick).

I don't think 58 lbs is too high.
Many people here string 18g higher than that
i believe.

I bought a reel for my squash racquets, and have started playing a hybrid in my tennis sticks with the X1 in the mains and a poly cross. At the moment that's Lux Adrenaline 1.20, but I've got a few part-reels of poly lying around so I'll be mixing it around a bit.

I usually play a gut/poly hybrid, and have found this to be surprisingly close. It's great for the first few hours, but goes downhill a little after that - which isn't really a problem, as it breaks fairly fast (though not as fast as I was expecting). I'm stringing at 44/41 in a tight 18/20 pattern.
