Fischer Match Maker

Does anybody know anything about this racket? I picked it up from Goodwill with the strings broken and I plan to restring it. I don't know how much string is needed. As I was counting the mains and crosses, it appears to be a 20x20, but in pictures, the string pattern is 16x20.

Which model...should have a number or other designation.

Dang...I walked right over to my MM 1,2 and 3. Don't know about yours, I'm afraid.

That's a Medium 5 or M5 weight and grip designation.

High, I hadn't considered that :)

Spin, I'd just start stringing with an eye on the spacing of the outer mains and looking for shared holes. My 3 has 18 x 21 pattern with FOUR sets of shared holes in each corner!

My MMs are from the '70s...If you are dealing with something more contemporary, all bets are off(I'd still just start stringing @ 50# or so, 33ft possible but using a bit more for 'experimentation')

Match Maker 1 is open throat alloy sandwich the MM 2 is a mono shaft version.

Indeed...I have all three, two have never been strung. I played a number of these Fischer frames back in the '70s.

Everybody now.....

Thanks for the input, I ended up just stringing the racket using a 2 piece, and everything worked out just fine.
