This is always interesting. Teams have to balance chances to win, match ups and travel distance when selecting their region of choice.

Thanks for the heads up TopDawg. I was thinking it was getting close but forgot to check.

Thanks TopDawg.

I'm just curious why USC says "tentative" on the host sheet?

JLyon 06-05-2013 05:47 AM

I must be out of it, when did Texas A&M get a nice big indoor facility?

10isplayer 06-05-2013 07:49 AM

I'd suspect that Pepperdine, Miss St, Ole Miss and Kentucky will be some of the first schools picked

They are the host school but the event will be somewhere in Houston.

My bad the women's draft is today and is going as we speak. The Texas, Nebraksa, and Northwestern regionals filled up first.

TopDawg 06-05-2013 09:45 AM

Illinois women passed on its pick

I wonder why they did that?

Fresno State decided to come all the way to Clemson instead of staying close to home to play at USC or UCLA. Travel costs must be a thing of the past.

Memphis into a great section at Miss St with South Carolina. Will be interesting to see who the 4th team is.

Clemson_tennis 06-06-2013 08:30 AM

Vanderbilt fills up first. Interesting choice by Texas.

JLyon 06-06-2013 08:42 AM

Ole Miss will be interesting, tough, tough regional. Hope the coaches found a replacement for #2 and beef up #5-6 before January

Clemson_tennis 06-06-2013 09:26 AM

Why is nobody selecting to go to Florida?

Automator 06-06-2013 09:43 AM

If I were BYU I would have gone to LA as a two seed, rather than UK as a 4.

Automator 06-06-2013 10:01 AM

Schools ducking UVA, USC, UCLA, Duke and OSU like the owe them money.

Clemson_tennis 06-06-2013 10:05 AM

Lots of teams choosing to be 4 seeds rather than 2s at the top teams. The consolation match has a lot to do with that.

TopDawg 06-06-2013 10:05 AM

Stanford and Washington are going to come all the way to Athens to play each other.

Automator 06-06-2013 10:10 AM

I guess that Louisville and MTSU will pick Duke.
