Pre and Post match nutrition
Hi guys, for a school project i am researching nutrition in tennis. What types of meals or specific meals help a tennis player and more specifically, a counterpuncher?

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) created a 400 page document that reviews research in various aspects of recovery in tennis.

A fair amount of that report concerns nutrition in tennis, and it is not too technical, though fairly thorough, and well documented with references to the studies that have been done in this area.

MCT and/or Coconut Oil before and after a match.
Oatmeal with hummus, brown rice cakes with nut butter,
Drink lots of water, bananas, and electrolytes.

Chocolate milk after match.

Fruit before.
