Dyreex Black Edge

Has anyone here played with this string? There's good ratings here; http://stringforum.net/strings.php?sdnr=5069. I'm intriqued and have called the company directly and looking to buy a reel but would like some TT members to comments prior to doing so. Thanks!

I second that. Doesn't look like it's easy to get. Hope someone comes forward with experience with these.

Funny, I am interested in this string as well. Euro Co., have to import, did not see any on the bay when I looked. If you get some we could do a trade if you're up, we've traded before oOlun.

I just ordered a reel should be coming in soon. The owner is very cool. I emailed him and messaged him on facebook, replies really fast.

You got my interest.
I couldn't find a contact to order this string.
Does anyone have the website or email contact for this.

The Next String Combination

I really like TB, but looking at other combos.

Has anyone played with the following:

WC Black Edge
Cyclone Tour
Discho Iontec Salmon
Dyrex Back Edge

I have heard great things on all 4 of these strings.

You can call dyreex directly by their contact on dyreex.com. Ive contacted them in the past and got through easily. They are in France but have a toll free number. At the time a reel of black edge was $155 shipped. I disnt proceed because I couldnt justify spending that much on a reel where i believe the reviews on stringforum.net are hyped up. I could be wrong, but I also have a lot of strings to go through prior to any new string purchase.

I am really keen to hear some reviews as well of this string! I was on the website and you can just add a reel to the shopping cart, worldwide shipping is 15 Euro.

After stringing I bounced the ball to check for feel and it felt very lively and crisp. I did couple of volley against the wall and wow it felt great. Will give a review tonight.

Jisop, have you played with Yonex Poly Tour Pro before? Could you give feedback how this string plays compare to Yonex? Which one is softer?

Yes I played with yonex pro poly the black one. I personally didnt like yonex it feel dull and boring. Dyreex by the other hand is crispy feeling. It sounds and feels stiff but feels soft.

jisop 09-16-2013 08:33 PM

best poly out there

Ok hit with it today and it was great. The sound of the strings sound so good coming off the racquet. Strings are super soft, and friendly on the arm. The feeling of the strings is one of a kind. Has power level of lux alu but not that dull metallic feeling. RPM feels dull compared to these strings to. Yonex the same dull. The feel of dyreex is super. The spin is the superb. As I posted my string collection. I like these strings best overall. All of you poly players these strings is a must try. The hype is real!!

TenFanLA 09-16-2013 09:41 PM

hey jisop,

I'm excited about this string from your and stringforum.net reviews. I ordered a reel of dyreex black edge 1.25 too. They gave me a tracking number and a link but it cannot locate it. Do you know how to track it? How long did it take to get yours? I ordered on 9-12-13.

parasailing 09-16-2013 10:50 PM

Jisop or TenFanLa - Since both of you order a reel, would either one of you consider selling me 40 feet of string? E-mail my user id if you are interested in selling me a set.
