Buying rackets from first time sellers??? Thoughts?

I have had good experiences with buying here on TW, mostly with long time posters/members.

I am wondering what the take is on first time low post sellers.... Has anyone ever done a deal with them.... Tips.... Advice?

I would imagine doing it through PayPal is the safest but still a little risky.

The racket I'm looking for at a good price just went up from a new seller.... Hmmmmm.....

Thanks so much for your feedback.

Cheers ~ TG

Thanks Overdrive... Some good tips over there ;-)

Still not sure... I'll wait for an active member to put one up.

Everybody has to start somewhere.

Even though not legit. I wouldn't be surprise if folks use another username to sell goods here.

Just need to trust and buy through Paypal. At least if you get cheated, you get your $$$ back from their protection plan.

I get that Air, the poster that I am referring too has the top 3 racquets listed for a very good price & those are his only three posts....

I feel a little more comfortable with a little more forum/community involvement. A little old school I guess ;-)

Gotcha. I just remembered when I sold my first racquet, some guy wanted to receive the racquet and then paypal me. That was a nonstarter for me.
