2 days left before showtime. The draw is out...still waiting on a few qualifiers. These are the guys favored to win. Odds are subject to change...duh. Who can deny us another Nadal/Federer final? Any forecasts for upsets in the 1st round.

If I were betting I would bet on Federer. I think Nadal has a better chance, but it is only slight. With those odds, Federer is a good bet.

Now that Federer is the underdog against Nadal...you get much better odds on Roger. Everyone who saw that Rome final knows Roger should have won that match. He was up 4-2 in the 2nd set tiebreak, had match points in the fifth set and was up 4-2 in the tiebreak. He won 105 points vs. Nadal's 104 points. The last point, Nadal hit the ball out but no one checked the mark because everyone was so caught up in the moment. Nadal was lucky to win and Roger blew a golden opportunity to silence his critics. He's got one more chance in Paris and if he doesn't win...I think Nadal will officially own Roger.

think i'll hit the bookies and put sum money on acasuso. fed and nalbandian...

Let me see if this is correct. If I put a dollar on Nadal, all I get is 56 cents, or 56 plus my original dollar, as in 1.56 ?

It's Federer's to win or lose. At his best, he's unstoppable. At Nadal's best, he can still be stopped by a hot enough player. Wouldn't that suck if he got Moya first round?

With those odds why would you put money down on Nadal? Fed is an ok bet, but not great. If you are betting to play it safe for a small payout why even bet?

Wow, are those odds actually framed in the US or are they your own estimations ? Just checked latested odds in Australia and found some huge unders for some of your prices. The latest market here has:
Nadal 4/6, Fed 7/4, Almagro 25/1, Gaudio 40/1, Gonzalez 40/1, Davydenko 50/1, Acasuso 50/1, Safin 66/1, Gasquet 66/1, Coria 80/1, Robredo 80/1:mrgreen:

After winning Hamburg, Robredo would have to be considered one of the best contenders outside of Fed and Nadal.

If I'm trying to make some money, I would put some bucks to Acasuso and Nalbandian ;)

The odds change everytime a wager is placed. Every sportsbook has their own odds, some just take others and add their own vig. Those were the odds I had at the time of my post. I am not an oddsmaker.

If Robredo is at 80/1 I´ll go with him.
