What the touring pros drink during matchplay

I was curious what sport drinks the men & women drink and if they're available to consumers. Thanks for any info.

isnt pedialyte a drink for children so they get all the right nutrients?

AdOut 08-05-2006 07:40 PM

yea but its also loaded with electrolytes and will replenish your body of any nutrients lost while playing during a match

i am in no way certain of this but i know that some players do tend to drink it...not the most pleasant tasting of drinks but it gets the job done...ur safest bet would be the grape flavor :D

Try some Cytomax. It's great stuff--you'll notice a difference.

Nadal's an awesome player and for all you haters, hes been tested plenty of times, and each time he was proven steroid free.

Maybe VitaminWater? it's my fave.

qwerty66 08-06-2006 12:53 AM

they are always pink or blue
and nadal has 2 bottles
one pink and one clear

kchau 08-06-2006 01:00 AM

nadal drinks water, but if you pay attention, he takes different sips from 2 different bottles, i am guessing that one is a salt, potassium, and electrolyte concentrate, while the other is just plain water.

i also noticed that nadal takes an energy gel when he breaks in a match.

qwerty66 08-06-2006 01:12 AM

what is energy gel?

kchau 08-06-2006 01:16 AM

its like, thick liquid energy, you dont have to digest it, so its faster acting than ar egular energy bar

google up powerbar powergel
