Can someone plese explain what this means....
Can someone plese explain what this means. "Easier because of the friction from the previous string" is unclear and I'd like to know the physics/reason behind stringing one ahead being faster.

All right. Success! I made a mistake in taking the gut out of the original racquet and ended up with two pieces - one 16.5 ft and the other somewhat shorter. I was sure that this length was too short...

Can I harvest gut from old racquets?
Is natural gut playable if I pull it from an old racquet (one piece) and then restring it in my current frame (just the crosses as there won't be enough length for the whole frame)?
