I Say it in the first post I think. I'm looking for a little more power and acces to spin. Something not above the 310-315 Gr unstrung mark.

That's one thing I really disliked about the YT. The frame felt very hollow and low powered. I prefer a stiffer feeling (not getting to the level of the babs tho). Does the IG feel more like the...

I've already experimented with it, and I seem to like it with some weight at 2 and 10 and counterbalance in handle. The racquets are asking for retirement though, they are pretty worn out.

Thanks for the replies.

To be honest, I've been playing with Rads for so long that I don't even remember the feel of an open pattern. I know that when I demoed the PD before my tennis break I didn't...

Hello,

I'm a 22 year old player. I would say I'm 4.5-5 NTRP. I beat 4.5 players pretty comfortably and put good fights against 5 level players, but I tend to lose close matches.

I've been playing...

I've played for about 1h45 today.

Serves and volleys are sweet, I love the feel of this racquet. It's good on backhands too. I have a pretty flat 2HBH and plowthrough has increased...

Restored LM Rads

I bought 2 used LM Rads MP (you can't find new ones in Europe). The bumper guard and grip were pretty worn out so I have made some restoration and customization.

I've changed the pallets from 4 1/4...

Removing leather grip. How much change?

I always remove the grip of my racquets and play with two overs. I like the feeling.

Now I'm planning to buy a Prestige and I'm a bit worried about doing the same thing with it. Will replacing the...

Power is not a problem I think. I'm one of the hardest hitters at my level in my club (although not the best).

No sense it's less powerful :-?

Same head size, same pattern, 0.5 mm of beam difference, Prestige is stiffer. If you can swing the Prestige as fast as the Rad I don't see how it can be less powerful.

And the last thing. If I lead the Rad to the weight and balance of the prestige (TW Customization tool says about 20 gr in the handle and 3 at 6 and 9) will they play similar?

Thanks for all the answers.

The problem here in Spain is that there isn't a 'heavy racquets culture'. People here ranked 200 o 300 (national) still play with Pure Drives, Extremes, Radicals and 6.1...

Okey I'll demo it then.

And if I finally get it, how much do you think I can get from my two YT Radicals MP. They have some scratches typical of the game but they are 8/10 in general condition.
