I'm having to use a full bed of least 16 gauge poly. I broke 17 Black Widow in one session. I broke 17 Pro Line 2 in two sessions. 17 Sonic Pro actually is in the 3-4 session range, but this string...

I loved my APDC's but I had to switch out after 3 years...arm would be wrecked by mid-summer. I was hoping it was just the poly string but switching to a multi didn't help much. Demo'd a few other...

Even though...

Hi, sorry if this is dumb question, but what does the "C" in my 4.5C rating mean? I gather there are also 4.5A and 4.5B ratings. Does this mean I'm at risk of being moved down to 4.0?

I've only...

Well to me, more weight = more power, so I don’t find a 11oz racquet too powerful by any stretch. One of the reasons I like the Babs is because I feel it's easier to take big cuts and still have the...

To answer the OP's question, it's just the continuation of a trend. Pros are using larger, stiffer, lighter sticks than 2/10/50 years ago. The technology has enabled this as you've moved from wood to...
