I think my biggest gripe with the 4GS 45lb setup, is that serving accuracy drops tremendously. I find I have to just be content with serving to general areas of the service box, rather than specific...

After playing with it for a while, I'm on the fence with the steam 99s. On one level it feels best to me strung with 4G at 62lbs. But after the severe notching that occurs the strings are all over...

I'm at 45lbs with the 4Gs and the only downside for me is it makes the racquet feel a little vague on serve. I find myself having to be content with going for general areas of the service box rather...

I just strung mine up with the 4GS at 45lbs. And I think it produces a much more consistent string bed then running the 16gauge 4G at 62lbs.
It took a few hits to dial in my trajectory a little bit,...

I love my steam 99s. It is just ultimately a solid all around racquet. I added some weight to the handle of mine to bring it up to about 12oz and 8pts headlight.

Get some tungsten putty or blutac and shove a bunch of it in the handle. It transforms the 99s into a scalpel. I brought mine up to about 11.9, and I think about 7pts headlight, and boom put away...

I love the 99S more and more each day. Once the strings settled in a bit I am happy with it strung at 62lbs with 4G. My consistency with this racquet is through the roof. I really have zero...

I played with my 99s at 62lbs with 4G. I did not like it at first, I had to really swing out in order to get the pace and depth that I was getting at 58lbs. I didn't think four pounds would have such...
