I am a big fan of DNX 8. I've tried the DNX V1 and I think the DNX 8 is better--large sweetspot, maneuverable, good at the net--you need to access the spin or else the ball will fly.

If you know someone who knows how to string, get them to show you how to do it. Once they show you, there should not be any problems. My experience is that the manuals are sub par.
