I took a video of myself returning serves and i did find that im maybe not rotating my upper body as well and concentrating too much on my split step.

It maybe that a many rec players stand like a statue on the ROS and can do this as most rec players serve is slow.

I am thinking for the 5.0 server...

yes these are cliches.....but in a tough match last few games or times when you are physically tired....do you play to win or play not to lose?

i agree but to be more precise , the overhead for the bachand side , the back foot is the left foot , whereas the overhead for the forehand side the back foot is the right foot.

maybe reword to "right foot for the alchemy like dunking overhead."

i was always naturally better at returning from...

i was always naturally better at returning from the ad side.
but I developed equally strong ROS from deuce side.
I dont think it really matters in doubles for me.
I like the Bryans strategy to play...

that's might be true for timing, but as far as accuracy, it's easier to use the whole court to margin of error than a fraction of the court.

This is easier.
