I not getting a lot of responses to this...
I not getting a lot of responses to this inquiry.
It maybe that a many rec players stand like a statue on the ROS and can do this as most rec players serve is slow.
I am thinking for the 5.0 server...

getting ready from the feet up

what motivates you- winning or not losing?
Playing not to lose.
Or playing to win.
yes these are cliches.....but in a tough match last few games or times when you are physically tired....do you play to win or play not to lose?

adjustment of the serve return to alley server
How do you adjust your position for the server that goes wide to the alley for his serve (like in doubles) as oppose to server standing next to hash marks when serving.

i was always naturally better at returning from...
i was always naturally better at returning from the ad side.
but I developed equally strong ROS from deuce side.
I dont think it really matters in doubles for me.
I like the Bryans strategy to play...

which way to turn on a body serve?
When facing a body serve, which wing is best to return from ?
In other words should I turn hit BH or FH to return a serve going down the middle of the serve box.
