Kadishack, I just hold the tension head to keep it from moving while tweaking (tuning) the string with my other hand. Not sure that it is necessary to hold the tension head, but it is easy to do.

Also, Racquet Depot was very quick to respond to an email with dimensions on a swivel clamp base bar so they should be able to help with the clamp shaft diameter.
