Well all I can say is I hit with the same racquet with the same stroke. No complaints what so ever. You may find a different racquet to hit with but I keep finding that the gold is unique and fits me...

#3 is working against what your trying to do. Gosen gets 'sticky' relatively quickly and prevents the mains from moving freely.

For sure a stiff racquet. And for sure a poly racquet. Have you ever tried Isospeed classic for crosses? Super soft and low powered, which should work well in that racquet.

If PS GT, try the Wilson Pro Open. Swing is fairly similiar, much more power/spin, less control.

If PS Tour, Donnay Pro One is one to look at.

Me thinks he needs a heavier racquet and better footwork. The string pattern is more about power v. control, but is also in combination with head size.
