My guess is that there is only one factory in Germany turning out poly strings for likely dozens of brand names. They all seem to play and feel alike, MSV, Signum, Alpha, etc...

Mark said the 3 tooth clamps will be far superior to the current 5 tooth clamps. I think the springs were either crank tension or clamp springs.
